As per the course requirements, students must complete a research paper. In this paper, students will be expected to research a mental illness. Students must choose from the list below and must provide all required information in order to gain full credit.

Schizophrenia
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Depression
Bi-Polar Disorder
Eating Disorders (anorexia or bulimia)
Panic Disorder
Dissociative Disorder
Required Information:
A brief description of the mental illness
Signs, symptoms and behaviors
Possible causes of the illness
Treatment available and services provided by professionals
Include 3-5 facts/statistics about the illness (how common it is, what populations, etc.)
Bibliography of sources
Review the website for credible research links and information.
